Your Favorite Restaurant

[I’ll post a picture later!]

I have quite a list of restaurants in Disney that I love and want to try, but I’ll just talk about the one I went to on my last trip: La Hacienda de San Angel in Epcot’s Mexico pavilion. We ate there at night right before IllumiNations, and it was by far the best Mexican cuisine I have ever had! Not only was the food superb, but the atmosphere and the servers, too! Our waiter was so nice and always made sure to come check on us, despite the many people. I got the botana plate, which is an appetizer, but it filled me up & I could barely finish it! It was delicious! The other food there looked amazing as well (my mom especially enjoyed the margaritas! Haha!) I would recommend this restaurant to anyone going to Disney World!

Favorite Snacks to Grab in the Parks

Well, I’m never good a narrowing down my favorite foods, so…

This lovely, iconic concoction

Anything in here

Anything in here (especially the cinnamon rolls & the apple turnover! Yum!)

Candy from every country (and pastries in France, Germany, and Norway!)

Popcorn from WDW always tastes the best!

Glazed Almonds. They smell amazing! (I always get them in Fantasyland!)

Churros!

Things I’ve Always Wanted to Try, but Haven’t Done So Yet:

Dole Whip Float

Paw Print Brownie (my mouth is watering just looking at it!)

Zebra Dome

Other Treats in Each Country Pavilion

Favorite Walt Disney World Resort

I had the privilege of getting to stay in the Contemporary Resort on one of my trips. It was pure luck, really. We had made reservations for the Shades of Green military resort, but they were remodeling it so we couldn’t stay there. Instead, they booked us in this fabulous place for the price that it would have been for Shades of Green. I think it’s one of the best resorts Disney has anywhere. The monorail going through it, the stores, Chef Mickey, the lake just outside, the interior design, the view of Magic Kingdom just out your window, and just everything is so exquisite and amazing. One of my Disney dreams is to stay here again and eat at the California Grill at the very top of the resort when the Wishes firework show is going on, so I can enjoy the view while eating some of the best food Disney has to offer.

Favorite Animal Kingdom Attraction

The Festival of the Lion King is my favorite performance show in WDW. The Lion King was the very first Disney movie I fell in love with, when I was just one. I guess my early obsession made me love this show more than any other in Disney when I first went when I was 7. I always make sure to sit on the Lions side so I can be by Simba. (hehe.) All the trapeze and stunt work is amazing, and the whole shows is spectacular. One of the bests!

Favorite Animal Kingdom Area

I love the Asia part of Animal Kingdom! The colors and architecture are my favorite and are so eye-catching (for me, anyways). It also has my favorite ride there, Expedition Everest, and some amazing food! I love all the details that goes into this area, like the shrines, offerings, banners, and such. It’s really beautiful!

Favorite Hollywood Studios Attraction

The best Disney coaster. This was my very first ‘big’ roller coaster I ever road, so I have a special attachment to it. I love it so much! One of the coolest rides in the park!

Favorite Hollywood Studios Area

Sunset Boulevard is always the first place we go when we get to MGM/HS. I love how Disney made it have an old-time Hollywood feel instead of just making it a present-day replica. It gives it a nice touch of character and makes it much more magical and wonderful. I love walking down it right before sunset when everything just glows and looks so beautiful. I also love all the billboards and store signs put up; it makes it seem even more like I’m walking down the actual Sunset Blvd back in the day. It’s amazing!

Favorite Attraction in World Showcase

Germany is my absolute favorite pavilion in all of the World Showcase! I LOVE it so much! I think it’s because of the whole storybook-feel it gives off. The architecture is so beautiful, and every detail put in is amazing. All the country pavilions are very detailed and gorgeous, but this one is my most favorite. I love the gift shop (it’s where I FINALLY found some Tangled merchandise last time I went that wasn’t just a doll or girls’ clothes!) and the food is the best! I love coming back here at the end of the day and watching IllumiNations right in front of Germany. One of my dreams is to actually visit Germany for real, but this is a close second!

Favorite Attraction in Future World

I don’t have a favorite attraction (I love them all!), but I do have a favorite pavilion: The Land. I think it’s beautiful, with all the openness, bright colors, the smells, and the decorations on the ceiling; I love looking at the season balloons up there! I also love the mosaic as you enter into The Land. The Land also has two of my absolute favorite rides: Soarin’ and Living with the Land. I love seeing the greenhouse where they are experimenting with new growing methods and where they make the Mickey-shaped fruits and vegetables. I also think it’s so neat how all the food they grow in the greenhouses is served at the Sunshine Seasons and Garden Grill restaurants in The Land! It is a truly beautiful place that Disney has done such an excellent job on!

Favorite in Epcot: Future World or World Showcase?

World Showcase, for sure! I love learning about and experiencing different cultures, and the World Showcase is the closest I’ll be getting for awhile to traveling around the world. :) My favorite pavilions are as follows: Germany, France, Italy, UK, Japan, Norway, China, Morocco, Mexico, Canada, and American Adventure.

Favorite Attraction in Adventureland

I love Pirates of the Caribbean! This was one of my favorites when I first went when I was seven, and the POTC movies made me love it even more! One of my favorite classic WDW rides there.

Favorite Attraction in Frontierland

I’m not that big with the Frontierland rides, but I do like this one. It was one of the first roller coasters in Disney that I road. Then, when we went last February, by sister rode it for the first time. She had a look of terror on her face every time she rode it, but once she got off she kept demanding to ride it again. It made me laugh, and I think that’s why I like this one the most in Frontierland.

Favorite Attraction in Liberty Square

Last February was the first time I got to see The Hall of Presidents (all the other times it was being remodeled. All three times. I don’t know why.) I thought it was really neat, and the technology astounded me; Walt Disney & his Imagineers created this technology at a time when audio-animatronics was never even heard of often! What made me even more impressed was that all 44 presidents moved and talked, and their eyes and heads were always turned in the direction of who was speaking. I thought it was a truly amazing show…and Morgan Freeman narrating was cool, too!

Favorite Attraction in Fantasyland

There’s a long story behind why I love this ride. I rode it for the first time when I was 7. When I went to WDW again two years later, my parent’s didn’t want to ride it. I was sad. Then, I went when I was 14. I was so excited to go ride it, only to discover that all the fastpasses were gone and the line was 2-hours long! Then, last Christmas we went to MK for band. I darted to the fastpasses after we marched. Once again, they were gone and the line was ridiculous. Finally, last February we went to MK during the Extra Magic Hours (the best thing in the world.) The line was 5 minutes, and I got to ride my Peter Pan’s Flight FINALLY, after so many years! That is why it’s my favorite.

Favorite Attraction in Tomorrowland

I used to refuse to ride Space Mountain. I hated roller coasters. It wasn’t until last Christmas, actually, when I went to Magic Kingdom for band that I rode it. I realized all that I missed out on all those years and now I love it!
